Falcon Pointe in Pflugerville: Schools, Amenities and Home Prices

Falcon Pointe is a master-planned community of more than 1,700 homes on the east side of Pflugerville, at the SH130 and SH45 toll roads, with its own elementary, middle and high school. My clients pick it for two things: the schools and the Residents Club. I know it well. I swam in that pool in high school, and I've sold homes here since.

The Residents Club and parks

The Residents Club is the heart of Falcon Pointe. It has a play pool, a splash pad, a lap pool, a basketball court and tennis courts. It's truly resort-style.

Outside the club there are miles of walking trails, lakes and ponds, playgrounds and the Falcon Pointe disc golf course. The HOA keeps the parks in fantastic shape, and you can see it in the homes too. There's a pride of ownership here that is particularly unique.

The neighborhood is overwhelmingly families. That tracks with the two things people come here for.

Schools inside the neighborhood

This is the big one. The elementary, middle and high school are all inside Falcon Pointe, within walking and biking distance:

  • Murchison Elementary
  • Kelly Lane Middle
  • Hendrickson High School

When I filmed in November 2023, these were among the highest rated in Pflugerville ISD. In my October 2025 Pflugerville guide, all three were rated 8/10 or higher on GreatSchools. Not many neighborhoods around Austin let a kid walk to school from kindergarten through graduation.

Homes, size and prices

Falcon Pointe has more than 1,700 homes, split between a section north of Kelly Lane and one just south of it. Kelly Lane is where the SH45 toll road ends.

Building started in 2002, and a lot of the inventory went up in the 2010s, so nothing here is particularly old.

As of my November 2023 tour:

  • Most homes ran from the high $300s / very low $400s up to about the $700s.
  • Around 1,400 sq ft was in the low $400s.
  • The $700s got you 3,000+ sq ft with a three-car garage, and maybe a pool or a greenbelt behind you.

Historically, average days on market here has been significantly lower than the rest of Pflugerville. Homes trade quickly because people want to be here, and when they do come here, they come here to stay. That's good news for resale.

Location, commute and toll roads

Falcon Pointe sits right at the SH130 and SH45 intersection. Both are toll roads, and you'll use them for most commuting, whether that's Round Rock, Cedar Park, Apple, Dell or downtown. So budget for tolls. The upside is they very rarely have traffic, unlike I-35.

You're about 15 miles from the center of Austin, very close to the Tesla Gigafactory and about 20 minutes from the airport. Even though you're pretty far out of town on a map, this is a really easy place to live.

Kelly Lane used to be a two-lane bottleneck east of SH130. As of October 2025, the Kelly Lane extension has opened and it has completely transformed commute times out here.

Shopping and things to do

Stone Hill Shopping Center is around the corner, with gyms (including mine), Costco, Target, Home Depot and plenty of restaurants. In 2023 a 140,000 sq ft H-E-B was being built across from the Falcon Pointe exit; by early 2025 it had opened.

The Kalahari and Typhoon Texas water parks are close too. When I filmed, all of that was within about 2 miles.

Who Falcon Pointe fits

Pros:

  • Elementary, middle and high school inside the neighborhood
  • Resort-style Residents Club, trails, ponds and disc golf
  • Strong pride of ownership and well-kept parks
  • Homes historically sell faster than the Pflugerville average
  • Stone Hill, Costco and H-E-B minutes away

Cons:

  • You'll pay tolls for most commutes
  • About 15 miles from central Austin

Falcon Pointe fits families who want the schools and amenities close to home and don't mind a toll-road commute. When I work for you, you get me. I show the homes, I negotiate and I'm the one who answers your call. You're never handed off to a teammate you didn't choose.

My honest take
Falcon Pointe is one of the most unique neighborhoods in Pflugerville. The schools are right there, the Residents Club is truly resort-style, and people take real pride in their homes. Budget for tolls, because you are going to use them. But distance aside, it's a really easy place to live, and people who move here tend to stay.
