Where things stand
Not a ton has happened at Hawkes Cove yet. As of October 2025, it was all earthwork: prepping for roads, utilities and whatnot. We're still in the very early phases.
Brightland has pricing it's anticipating, but none of it is guaranteed yet. At the price point we're expecting, I think it's going to offer a very unique product for this part of Leander. I'll update this page once pricing and floor plans are real.
Location and commute
Location is where Hawkes Cove already shines. It literally could not be an easier place to live.
- Daily essentials like H-E-B and Chick-fil-A are close.
- Leander Northline, a new mixed-use development, is down the street. It was under construction in October 2025 and is meant to be a miniature Domain.
- The commuter train into downtown Austin is down the street.
- The 183 toll road has had corridor improvements. I drove from the Domain right before filming, and it took 25 minutes. It could not have been any easier. Getting downtown is just as easy.
Divine Lake Park
By far the biggest perk of this community is Divine Lake Park, which is literally directly behind it. It's a City of Leander park, not a small HOA pocket park.
If you want to see what living next to Divine Lake is like, Brightland's Hawkes Landing backs directly onto the same park.
What's still unknown, and who it may fit
Because Hawkes Cove was still in the dirt when I filmed, a lot of the details buyers care about weren't public yet:
- Pricing, which Brightland hadn't guaranteed
- Floor plans and lot sizes
- School zoning
- Tax rate and HOA dues
I won't guess at any of those. What's already clear is who the location suits: someone who commutes to the Domain or downtown, wants the train as an option and wants a big city park out the back door. If that's you, it's worth getting on the list early and letting me track the release for you.
Selling in Hawkes Cove
My listing plan: a custom video tour, sunset photography, staging for vacant homes at my cost, and a launch straight to agents.
